Driveway Permits are $50.00.
Proposed driveways must meet site distance requirements using PennDot specifications. Mark out with ribbon or stakes where your would like your driveway to be installed.
Once you submit a driveway application into the office, the Road Superintendent will inspect the driveway. He will assess if there will be any drainage or site distance issues with the driveway. In the case a culvert is needed it is the responsibility of the homeowner to install and maintain the culvert.
If you replacing an existing culvert in your driveway a permit is still needed but the $50.00 fee will be waived.
