2024 FEE SCHEDULE

The Worth Township Board of Supervisors hereby resolve that the fee structure and policies regarding fees for Worth Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania, until further amended, shall be as follows:

COPIES: Request for copies of public meeting minutes or other public information:

All requests must be in writing using the Worth Township Right to Know Public Record Request form. Requests for copies will be filled within five (5) working days of receipt of the form unless a denial is issued. If the township does not supply the request or issue a denial within five (5) working days, the request is deemed as a denial. The township may also claim an “exemption” to the time requirements, at which time it must issue a response to the “requester” within 5 days explaining that the request is being reviewed, the reason for the review, and a reasonable date that      a response is expected to be provided.

COSTS: Paper copies – Twenty-five ($ .25) cents per 81/2×11 page per side.

Color copies ($.75) cents per81/2×11 page per side.

Shipping & Handling — If mailing is requested, a handling fee of Fifty ($ .50) cents will be charged in addition to the cost of postage for mailing supplies used.

Disk copies — If a disk is requested, it will be provided by Worth Township at a cost of 25($25.00) dollars per disk plus Fifty ($ .50) cents per file. A new disk will be necessary each time records are provided.

E-mail copies — E-mail copies will be available at the cost of One ($1.00) dollar per transmission plus Fifty ($ .50) cents per file.

If “True and Correct Certification” is requested, an additional charge of Two (S 2.00) dollars will be added.

Worth Township will require prepayment if the fees are expected to exceed $100.00.

ORDINANCES: Subdivision and Land Development Ordinances will cost $15.00 per copy. All other Ordinances fall under the copying fees.

SUBDIVISION DEVELOPMENT FEE: $50.00 for a minor subdivision.

$50.00 for the first lot and $25.00 for each additional lot in a major Subdivision.

An engineering fee at actual cost per hour and any review fees incurred will be charged as permitted under the Pennsylvania Municipal Planning Code.

LAND DEVELOPMENT FEE: A review fee of $500.00 will be charged and any review fees in excess of $500.00 will be charged as permitted under the Pennsylvania Municipal Planning Code and any additional engineering fees will be at actual cost per hour.

 

 

ASSESSMENT BUILDING PERMIT FEE: $50.00.

BUILDING CODE APPEAL FEE $250.00

AMUSEMENT APPLICATION FEE: $20.00

DRIVEWAY PERMIT FEE: $50.00 and any additional engineering fees will be at actual cost per hour.

DEMOLITION PERMIT FEE: $5.00

MOBILE HOME PARK LICENSE FEE: $50.00 and $5.00 per lot

JUNKYARD LICENSE FEE: $50.00

HALL RENTAL FEE: Resident -$50.00 plus $50.00 security for 50 or less persons $125.00 plus $125.00 security for over 50 persons Non-Resident – $75.00 plus $75.00 security for 50 or less persons

$150.00 plus $150.00 security for over 50 persons

ADULT BUSINESS LICENSE FEE: $250.00

ROAD MAINTENANCE LICENSE FEE: $5.00

SEWAGE PERMIT FEE: SEO FEE SCHEDULE Plus 15% Township administration fee

TAX CERTIFICATION LETTER: $20.00

N.S. F. CHECKS RETURN CHARGE: $40.00 plus bank fees

NO LIEN LETTER CHARGE: $25.00

SPECIAL LIOUOR LICENSE PERMIT $100.00 PER PERMIT

FIREWORKS PERMIT $50.00

 

OUTDOOR SOUND SYSTEM PERMIT $50.00

RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATIONS MUST APPLY FOR THE PERMIT BUT ARE EXEMPT FROM THE PERMIT FEE.

SCHEDULE OF FEES FOR HIGHWAY OCCUPANCY PERMITS

PERMIT ISSUANCE FEES

These fees are applied to the administrative cost incurred in reviewing the application and plan(s) and issuing and processing the permit. Including the preliminary review of the site location identified in the application, whether or not a permit is issued and processed.

GENERAL PERMIT INSPECTION FEES

These fees are applied to the cost incurred in the preliminary review of the location covered by the permit, and/or spot inspection of the permitted work, and/or subsequent inspection(s) after the permitted work has been completed to ensure compliance with permit provisions.

  1. Underground facilities (e.g., pipelines, buried cable with pedestals, conduit, manholes, head wall, inlet, and grate).

This fee is calculated on the TOTAL linear feet of the facility or facilities being permitted within the right-of-way, regardless of whether the surface is opened.

  1. Physically connected facility or facilities (first 50 feet or fraction thereof) each section $20.00
  2. Additional physically connected facilities

(each 100 feet or fraction thereof) $ 5.00

  1. Surface openings (These fees are calculated on the total linear feet of the opening being permitted within different areas of the right-of-way).
  2. Total linear feet of opening each (100-foot increment or fraction thereof.):
    1. Opening in pavement$40.00
    2. Opening in shoulder$20.00
    3. Opening outside pavement and shoulder$10.00
  3. If a longitudinal opening simultaneous occupies two or more highway areas identified in subparagraph A, only the higher fee will be charged. Linear distance shall be measured to the nearest foot.
  4. Surface opening of less than 36 square feet (e.g., service connections performed independently of underground facility installation, pipeline repairs) (each opening)
    1. Opening in pavement$30.00
    2. Opening in shoulder$15.00
    3. Opening outside pavement and shoulder$10.00 If an opening simultaneous occupies two or more highway areas identified in subparagraphs A and C, only the higher fee will be charged.
  5. Above ground facilities (e.g., poles, guys and/or anchors if installed independently of poles.
    1. Up to 10 physically connected above ground facilities
